Kratom Capsules, Powders and Shots From Labeled, Tested Brands
Kratom at Kush Kingdom
Kratom comes from the leaves of Mitragyna speciosa, a tree native to Southeast Asia. In the United States it is sold as a botanical product, most often as capsules, loose powder or concentrated liquid shots. It is a regular request at both Kush Kingdom shops, so we keep a focused shelf of the formats people buy most.
Texas regulates kratom under the Texas Kratom Consumer Protection Act, which sets labeling rules and limits on certain compounds. We stock products that list what is inside and where they came from, and we do not carry anything without a clear label.
Kratom is not approved by the FDA to treat any condition, and we do not make claims about what it will do for you. If you are thinking about kratom for a health reason, or you take any medication, talk to a doctor first.

Capsules, Powder or Shots
The three formats on our shelf differ mostly in convenience and how precisely you can measure.
Capsules
Pre-measured powder in a capsule. No taste and nothing to weigh. The label lists the amount per capsule so you always know how much you are taking.
Powder
Loose powder in a resealable pouch, usually the lowest cost per gram. Needs a scale or a measuring spoon, and many people mix it into a drink because of the bitter taste.
Liquid Shots
Small concentrated bottles meant to be taken as a single serving. Read the label carefully, because shots are much stronger per serving than a capsule.
Strains, Colors and What the Names Mean
Kratom is commonly sold by vein color: red, green and white, and sometimes yellow or gold blends. The color refers to the vein of the leaf at harvest and how the leaves were dried. Products also often carry a regional name, which is more of a trade name than a guarantee of origin.
Customers tend to describe the colors differently, but experiences vary from person to person and from batch to batch. We will not tell you that one color does a particular thing. What we can do is tell you what regulars tend to come back for and which products have the clearest labeling.
If you are new, start with a small amount of one product and keep notes on what you took and when. That makes any future choice much easier.
- Red, green and white vein products
- Blends labeled with their contents
- Capsules with the milligrams per capsule printed
- Powders in resealable pouches
- Liquid shots with a clear serving size
Using Kratom Responsibly
Start low and wait. Take less than the label serving the first time and give it time before deciding on more. Do not combine kratom with alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines or other sedating substances, and do not drive after using it until you know how it affects you.
Kratom can lead to dependence with frequent, heavy use, and stopping suddenly after long term daily use can be uncomfortable. If you notice you need more to feel the same, or that you are using it every day, it is worth stepping back and talking to a doctor. The FDA and the National Institute on Drug Abuse publish plain language information on kratom that is worth reading.
Store kratom in its original labeled container, sealed, cool and dry, and away from children and pets. Shots in particular look like a drink and should be kept well out of reach.

Why Buy Kratom From a Shop You Can Walk Into
Buying in person means you can read the label before you pay, ask how two products compare and come back to the same counter if you have a question later. It also means the product has passed through hands that care whether it is labeled properly.
Both Kush Kingdom shops carry the kratom lane. The Richland Hills shop on Boulevard 26 is open every day from 8 AM to midnight, and the east Fort Worth shop on Ederville Road is a short drive from Arlington and Handley.
While you are in, take a look at our CBD shelf next to it, which carries tinctures, topicals and capsules from hemp.

Reading a Kratom Label
A clear kratom label tells you the product name, the form, the amount per capsule or serving and the total amount in the package. It should list a batch or lot number and the company that made or distributed it, with contact information. Under Texas law, labels also carry directions and warnings, so read the whole panel before your first use.
Pay close attention to the serving size on liquid shots. A single shot can contain far more than a capsule, and some shots are meant to be split. If the label is unclear about the serving, ask us before you buy.
If a product has no batch number or no company contact details, we will not carry it. Labels are the minimum standard for anything sold over our counter.
Keep the package after you finish it, or snap a photo of the label. If you find a product you like, that photo makes it easy for us to find the same one, or the closest match, on your next visit.
